How is the Internet Changing our Way of Thinking?

Question 2010 by Katinka Matson

That is the annual question of the Edge Network. They have several interesting essays on the topic here.  In particular, I like Frank Schirrmacher’s asking if  we are we turning into a new species — informavores. Recommended.

I wont dare to predict if we’ll have flying cars or not. Historically they have been much touted but never realized. I do believe that we are just starting to realize the true impact of the internet and true connectivity. Those believing that we are coming to an end of online innovation are very pessimistic; we are just barely employing the ones that we have so far.
